Legal and trust

Terms of Service

Effective 26 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between Novachi Group LLC ("Truvasse", "we", "us") and the organisation that signs up for or uses Truvasse ("Customer", "you"). By creating an account or using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it. If your organisation has signed an order form or master agreement with us, that document takes priority where it differs from these terms.

1. The service

Truvasse is evidence trust infrastructure. It lets organisations request documents and identity evidence, analyses that evidence for forensic signals, presents the findings to authorised human reviewers, and keeps the evidence, findings, review activity and decisions as a defensible record.

2. Signals, not verdicts

Truvasse reports forensic signals. It does not determine whether a document is genuine or fraudulent, whether an identity is real, or whether a person should be approved, hired, housed or lent to. A signal is a reason to look closer, not proof of wrongdoing, and the absence of signals is not proof that a document is authentic.

You are solely responsible for every decision you make using Truvasse and for reviewing evidence with appropriate human judgement. Forensic analysis has limits: files can be altered in ways no tool detects, and legitimate files can show signals for innocent reasons. Our Responsible Use page explains this in more detail.

3. Not a consumer reporting agency

Truvasse is not a consumer reporting agency, and the platform does not provide consumer reports as defined in the US Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws. You must not use Truvasse findings as the sole basis for denying credit, employment, insurance, housing or any other eligibility decision about a person.

You remain responsible for meeting every law that applies to your decisions, including fair lending, fair housing, employment, anti-discrimination and adverse action notice requirements, and for giving people a fair opportunity to explain or correct their evidence.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Have a lawful basis to request and process every piece of evidence you collect through Truvasse.
  • Give people any notices the law requires, and obtain any consents it requires, including written consent before biometric identity verification where applicable.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure, limit access to people who need it, and remove users who leave your organisation.
  • Use Truvasse in line with our Acceptable Use Policy and make sure your users do too.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@truvasse.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Your data

You own the data you and the people you invite put into Truvasse ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to host, copy, analyse and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the service for you and as the law requires.

We process personal information in Customer Data on your behalf and under your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy. A Data Processing Addendum is available on request.

Findings and records are append-only by design so the record stays defensible. When your subscription ends you may request an export of your Customer Data, after which we delete it as set out in your agreement or, if your agreement is silent, within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

6. Fees

Paid plans are billed as set out in your plan or order form. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. If an invoice is overdue we may suspend access after giving you notice. Trials end on the date stated when you start them.

7. Our intellectual property

Truvasse, including its software, forensic methods, designs and documentation, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription for your internal business purposes. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Confidentiality

Each of us will protect the other's confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed or rightfully received from someone else.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Truvasse at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if fees remain unpaid after notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, Truvasse is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will detect every altered, reused or inconsistent document or will be uninterrupted or error free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity below, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from evidence you collected without a lawful basis or required consent, from decisions you made using Truvasse, or from your breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.

13. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify customers in advance. Continuing to use Truvasse after a change takes effect means you accept it.
